You must navigate through a dense asteroid field to reach the first wave of the enemy fleet. There are sudden course changes to evade oncoming objects. Some of them are huge and fill almost the entire screen.

In addition to the usual enemy ships smaller asteroids storm onto the screen in clusters. These are a good source of energy for your optional weapons.
