GREEN HILL ZONE

Green Hill Zone is a tropical delight having lots of green. The style of this zone is what sticks with Sonic right up to now. Waterfalls, palm trees, rope bridges and tunnels around are mixed with the famous checkered hills and the 360o loops.

Hazards in this stage include plenty of crumbling platforms, bridges with piranhas leaping below them, spikes and winding logs complete with horns. These need timing to get across.

Robotnik arrives with his wrecking ball to stop Sonic. The two platforms at both sides of the screen are to be used for evading his attack and as a means in which to hit him.
