This zone is just a final confrontation with Robotnik. The fight takes place on 5 transparent game boards with a slightly different method of attack from Robotnik on each one. The 5 boards repeat until Robotnik is defeated.

First off he'll attack with the metallic arms. As he lunges forward land a hit on the arm. Second assault is from the nose. Annoying flames follow you around the game board. Round three is fought on a narrow pathway. The hands come from the rest of the robot and follow you around. Keep moving otherwise they'll smash you. After that they'll zip down to the other end of the pathway and dash through the middle. Robotnik now moves in and is vulnerable. The next round is simplest but not easy. The robot fires missiles that rain down and hit randomly on the game board.

The final round is the takes place in a U-shaped floor. Robotnik is in the middle where he lets rip with dozens of laser blasts.
